The Lion Express is open 7 days a week! We offer our routes depending on what day of the week it is, with Saturdays being our busiest day of operations when we offer routes to local beaches. Our routes on Monday through Thursday offer crucial locations that students may need to visit on a daily basis, such as grocery stores like Trader Joes and the Westfield Mall. Please see below for in-depth descriptions of our various stops and check the Lion Express Schedule for a complete list of when you can expect to be dropped off and picked up from each location.

Individual Stops

Playa Vista (New Everyday Stop)

The Lion Express will begin offering shuttles to the newest shopping center in Playa Vista starting in the Fall of 2016. This shopping center, just down the hill from LMU, has a variety of shops, eateries, and even a movie theater! Stay tuned for more information about this new and exciting stop.

LAX: Los Angeles International Airport (Everyday Stop)

We offer both drop off and pick ups from LAX every day. Please have your airline ready when making your reservation so we know where to pick you up from.

Manchester & Sepulveda (Everyday Stop)

The closest stop to LMU campus, Manchester and Sepulveda offers a wide variety of stores and restaurants to try, including Trader Joes, Ralph's, Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Brooklyn Water Bagel!

Westfield Mall (Everyday Stop)

One of the largest malls in Los Angeles, the Westfield Mall is a popular destination for LMU students looking for fun, food, and a quick shopping trip!

Where We Stop: Food Court/Target Side Parking Lot

Waterside Shopping Center (Everyday Stop)

The Waterside Pavilion is close to Marina Del Rey, and the shopping center offers some of the most popular resturaunts and stores that LMU students love, such as Mendocino Farms, Chipotle, California Pizza Kitchen and The Counter.

Maxella Shopping Center (Thursday-Sunday)

The intersection of Maxella and Lincoln offers a variety of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, including Pavilion's, Yardhouse, Panda Express, Barnes & Noble, Tender Greens and more.

Where We Stop: DSW Shoes

Howard Hughes Center (Thursday-Sunday)

The Howard Hughes Center is an outdoor shopping center includes both food and fun, including Dave and Buster's, Buffalo Wild Wings and a Cinemark movie theater.

Where We Stop: Souplantation

Venice Beach Pier (Saturdays)

One of our most popular destinations, Venice Beach is known around the globe for its eccentric people, shops and food.

Where We Stop: Washington & Pacific Avenue

Santa Monica / Third Street Promenade (Saturdays)

The Third Street Promenade has everything an LMU student could want off campus! A huge cluster of shops and food are situated on the famous Third Street Promenade and the stop is a quick walk to the Santa Monica pier.

Where we stop: Loading zone between 2nd and 3rd street.

Abbot Kinney (Saturdays)

Abbot Kinney is a trendy street near Venice Beach with many boutiques, shops, and more!

Where we stop: Abbot Kinney and Electric Ave.
