Briana T. Maturi

Director, Sorority & Fraternity Life

Briana T. Maturi serves as the Director of Sorority & Fraternity Life at Loyola Marymount University. Briana joined the Division of Student Affairs at LMU in 2006, and has held numerous roles within the Division since becoming a Lion. As Director, Briana works with the staff and student leadership to create a values-based and robust community among the 22 Greek-letter organizations on campus. In addition to her role with Sorority & Fraternity Life, Briana serves as the Director of LMU CARES, the university program that oversees campus-wide education on sexual misconduct prevention, consent education, bystander intervention, alcohol consumption and intercultural dialogue. She also serves as an instructor in the Ignatian Leadership Institute and advises ASLMU elections. Briana is a member of NASPA, the Jesuit Association of Student Personnel Administrators (JASPA) and the Association of Fraternity|Sorority Advisors (AFA). She earned her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from The Ohio State University and her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Briana is originally from the Jersey Shore, but now enjoys the life in Hermosa Beach.

Lawrence (Larry) Daves

Program Coordinator, Sorority & Fraternity Life

Larry is originally from Medford, New York. He has a B.A. in Drama, Fine Arts, and Psychology from Hofstra University and a M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA) from the University of Southern California. In his current role, Larry supports leadership development and self-governance through his work with council and chapter executive teams as well as growing the presence of the affinity group for sorority and fraternity leaders. Larry enjoys being active in the world of Higher Education and Student Affairs. He currently serves as an Ambassador for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and recently completed the InterFraternity Institute with the Fraternity Executives Association. Larry's passion is helping students find their authentic selves and to encourage them to live that truth proudly. In his spare time you can catch him exploring California and jamming to Beyoncé.

Allison is originally from Lynbrook, New York. She has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Delaware and a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Boston University. In her current role as Program Coordinator for Sorority & Fraternity Life, Allison supports student leadership and development through her work with council and chapter executive teams. Allison enjoys being involved in Higher Education in other capacities as well. She is a member of Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education (NASPA) and Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA). In addition, Allison spends her time volunteering for Pi Beta Phi Headquarters as a Critical Conversations Facilitator and Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters as an Alcohol Skills Training Program (ASTP) facilitator. In her spare time, you can find Allison playing tennis, volunteering at a local animal shelter, and exploring LA!
