Monthly Events
Throughout the semester, you may feel the need to relax, unwind, and reconnect with other transfer students who are also adjusting to life on the bluff. Stop by the Transfer Programs Office for socials, dinners and academic resource events, all designed with you in mind.
Meet & Greet
Transfer Programs kicks off each semester with a meet and greet for all new and current transfer students. It's an evening of fun, food, and mingling and provides a great opportunity to begin your involvement at LMU.
Study Jams
We know midterms and finals can be difficult, so come on by Transfer Programs Study Jams for food, fun and study materials.
Transfer Graduation Banquet
Each year, Transfer Programs hosts the Transfer Graduation Banquet to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of the outgoing transfer class at LMU as they brought new experiences and talents to the community.
Lion Transfer Network
Lion Transfer Network is a club on campus that focuses on providing new and current transfer students the resources they need to help them transition to life at LMU. We provide programming to allow transfers to meet one another as well as collaborate with other offices on campus to provide informational sessions that transfers can benefit from. Our hopes are that we can better prepare each class of transfers so that they can discover the resources and opportunities that LMU has to offer them. We understand that transferring is a difficult adjustment, we are here to make it easier by providing a space where fellow transfers students can come together, make connections and forge relationships! Tau Sigma National Honors Society
Tau Sigma is an academic honor society designed specifically to "recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students." Tau Sigma Honor Society's Zeta Psi Chapter at LMU is excited to do just that!
Virtual Engagement - Discord and Instagram
The Transfer Leadership Team, comprised of 7 transfers students, created and manage a Discord online communication platform for transfer students and a transfer student-centered Instagram account. Future and current transfer students are encouraged to reach out and make connections!
