Asian Pacific Islander Student Organizations

  • Asian Pacific American Coalition
    The Asian Pacific Coalition serves to create and foster a central voice for the Asian American and Pacific Islander Community at Loyola Marymount University. Comprised of the most prominent leaders of community, APAC strives to create consistent collaboration, address prevalent issues, connect with relevant organizations, and provide new opportunities through commitment, education, leadership, and advocacy.                                                                                                            
  • Han Tao
    Han Tao celebreated and explored the traditions and cultures of Chinese and Chinese- Americans through various events and activities through meetings and events both on and off campus.
  • Isang Bansa (IB)     
    IB promotes and preserves the Filipino and Filipino- American cultures through academic, cultural, philanthropic, and social activities.            
  • Korean Americans Student Association (KASA)
    KASA promotes the education and enrichment of its member and the university community with aspects of Korean culture through involvement and participation in various social, cultural, and political activities.                                  
  • Kyodai
    Kyodai provides a means for people of all backgrounds to meet and get to know people who have a common interest in Japanese culture, language, animation, music, games, etc. , through meetings and events both on and off campus.
  • Na Kolea
    Na Kolea acts as a vehicle to ease the transition of the island students to California and college life and also as the preservers of the Aloha Spirit. Na Kolea teaches various facets of Hawaiian culture, dance, and shares the heritage of Hawaii with both Hawaiian and non- Hawaiian students at LMU.
  • Nikkei Student Union (NSU)
    Promotes Japanese- American cultural and political awareness among the student body through social and community service activities.
