‌Checklist for Graduate International Students

1. Pay commitment deposit, if applicable.
2. Register for the mandatory International Student Orientation August 2015.   Specific dates and information on registration will be available in summer.
3. Submit your SEVIS I-20 Request Form  (Certificate of Eligibility for F-1, International Student Status)
4. Obtain your visa and review your legal requirements.
5. Meet the immunization and health insurance requirements.
6. Complete your housing request, if applicable. The university does not provide housing for married students.  For off-campus housing, please visit the Off-Campus Student Life for resources available.
7. Pay the tuition and fees.  Please click on methods of payment for detailed info.
8. Create login ID and password for Mylmu (You will need your Student ID number).  You can check your registration status and your account information via PROWL once you log in to Mylmu.
9. Schedule your registration advisement appointment.  To enroll in courses, you must contact your designated academic advisor (found on your acceptance letter).  Search for their contact information here - Campus Directory
10. Contact OISS for passport/1-20 verification, upon entry to the U.S.
11. Once you arrive on campus and you have registered for classes, get your OneCard.
12. Check the Academic Calendar for important deadlines regarding courses.
