The Philanthropist Resource Directory (formerly Philanthropist Resource Guide) is an inventory of 250+ organizations across the United States that work to support the philanthropic activities of high net worth (HNW) donors. They hope that this resource will enable HNW donors to discover new sources of support for their philanthropic journey, help philanthropy intermediaries and advisors find new resources and collaborators, and allow funders of this field to gain a better understanding of the landscape of the donor support ecosystem.

|Voting and Formal Political Activities||Learning to Give Participation in Civil Society and Voting||One of the fundamental purposes for education is to prepare youth for responsible citizenship. This includes caring for others and the common good, understanding how government, business, and nonprofit systems work, following current events, learning how to identify reliable information, listening to diverse points of view and having civil conversations, voting, and advocating for a cause. This toolkit includes background information, primary documents, lessons, and project ideas related to the words of the Constitution.|

The following websites and publications may be useful sources of additional information on advocacy. Many of the organizations' websites contain issue descriptions, updates, and talking points on current advocacy efforts. The governmental website ""Thomas"" is useful for tracking the status of legislation, reading actual bill language, and determining if members of Congress have sponsored or co-sponsored priority bills. Most members of Congress also have their own websites.
