Brooke Kissinger

Senator: Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts

Brooke is from San Diego and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  She also attended Carlos Tercero University in Madrid Spain studying International Business and Spanish.  Her personal practice of Yoga became the nexus of Brooke’s life as she continued her studies and became a Certified Yoga Instructor and obtained advanced certifications in Trauma-Informed Yoga, mindfulness, meditation as well as becoming a Reiki Master.

Brooke is currently in the Yoga Studies Graduate Program with an emphasis in Yoga Therapy.  Brooke wholeheartedly believes Yoga has the power to transform and improve the health and wellness for anyone who invites the practice into their life.  

Brooke also served in student government throughout elementary, middle, high school and college, serving for multiple terms as vice-president and president of her classes. She is also a Domestic Violence Advocate and extremely passionate about helping survivors find their power within and help transform their trauma through Yoga. 

Brooke hopes to bring Yoga, mindfulness and meditation to the student body at LMU, and that the vast benefits of Yoga have the potential to help the students of LMU to live happier, healthier and more balanced lives while finding joy around every corner.  Brooke hopes to be a strong voice and advocate for the students of Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts and to bring unity, peace and love to the entire campus and beyond.
