Originally from Yerevan, Armenia, Marianna is a proud Armenian-Russian immigrant and first-generation law student. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. This past spring, she was awarded the Outstanding First Year Brief Award and received the First Honors Award in her Legal Research and Writing class. Marianna split her 1L summer between a judicial externship in state court and an internship abroad with the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh. She is currently a staff editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, a teaching assistant for Loyola’s Legal Writing Teaching Assistants Program, and an intern for a boutique law firm specializing in entertainment, business, and intellectual property litigation.
