Darnise Martin, Ph.D. is an Ohio native and now longtime California resident. She is an LMU faculty member teaching a variety of courses including African American History, Religions and Cultural Arts. Martin loves to hang out and talk about good literature, spirituality in film, and tries never to miss a good dance party. She loves to travel, and is known to go on solo adventures around the U.S. and internationally.
