2.22.24 Spring Break Reminders

Feb. 22, 2024

Dear LMU Students,

As we begin spring break, I hope each of you will take time to rest and recharge so that we finish the spring semester strong. I know many of you may be traveling for the break, so I want to provide a few reminders to keep our community safe and healthy.

  • Stay Healthy: LMU encourages all Lions to take the following simple precaution tips to keep the campus healthy as winter turns to spring.
  • Protect Your Residence: If you live off campus or will be traveling during the break, make sure to secure your residence and your belongings.
  • Neighborhood: If you live on or near campus and attend events in the neighborhood, please be mindful that you’re in a family-centered, residential area. I ask that you be respectful and considerate of the neighbors and reduce your noise level, particularly during the evening and early morning hours. If you have any questions, review the L.A. noise ordinance regulations here.
  • Dining On Campus: Staying on-campus during the spring break? Make sure to view the dining hours for next week.
  • LMU Food Pantry: The food pantry is fully stocked and accessible 24-hours a day for those who are food insecure.

Please reach out to me if you have questions or concerns. I wish you all a safe and healthy spring break!

Sincerely,

Terri L. Mangione, Ph.D.
