Director, Office for International Students and Scholars
Denise Folga has worked in the field of international education for many years. As director of OISS, she enjoys the ability to continue to learn from LMU’s students and scholars, who represent more than 100 countries. She frequently comments that she learns something new from them almost every day. Denise oversees the OISS Advising and Programming teams and works closely with the International Orientation and Global House programs as well as LMU’s International Student Athletes. Denise is actively involved in NAFSA: Association of International Educators having served at the District, Regional and National level. She currently serves as the Education and Training Coordinator. Outside of the office, Denise serves as the Belles Moderator and finds joy in traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going to concerts.
