What I hope to advocate for through the Student Advisory Board: As the first Hawai‘i local and only APIDA representative on the Board since its founding, I aim to continue advocating for greater cultural representation and belonging. I want to ensure that our programming, policies, and conversations reflect the full spectrum of student experiences—especially those from underrepresented and geographically distant backgrounds.

What I hope to advocate for through the Student Advisory Board: As a Resident Advisor, I hope to advocate for students living on campus by ensuring their needs and voices are represented in housing and community decisions. I also want to advocate for students from diverse or nontraditional backgrounds, including those with experiences similar to the foster youth I work with, to help make campus a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
