Ivy DeVries '28, a entrepreneurship and finance double major, is excited to embark on her academic journey and comes to LMU from Long Beach. Her passion for entrepreneurship started in 8th grade when she started my own balloon party planning business which is still growing. DeVries came to LMU because to take her career, passions, and academic goals to the next level. She shared, "As a newcomer to college life, I have already met some amazing people and teachers, these people are what motivates me to continue striving for excellence in my studies and personal life. I pride myself on being hardworking, enthusiastic, fun, creative and dedicated to my community, which I believe will help me navigate the challenges of college life and contribute positively to my community."
