Zachariah Michelena '28 is a first-year student from Sacramento, California majoring in political science major with the hope to become an attorney. On any given day, you might find him reading a book, practicing an instrument, or perhaps just enjoying his surroundings on a comfortable bench. In high school, Michelena participated in his school’s marching band, orchestra, mock trial team, literary and arts journal, and many other smaller activities. Coming to Los Angeles has been a surreal experience for Michelena, and he cannot wait to get involved on campus. He shared, "In my short time at LMU, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many interesting, creative, and kind individuals, and I hope I can continue to befriend many more people during my time at LMU."
