Originally from Metuchen, New Jersey, Albergo earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ramapo College and a master's degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of San Francisco. Before joining LMU, Albergo supported the CalGreeks community at UC Berkeley for five years. During his tenure, he worked with all four of their governing councils, supported the students and student leaders through a wide variety of incidents and challenges, and provided community-wide education and training. He also collaborated with on-campus groups and city partners in support of the CalGreek community.
Albergo is also a volunteer with the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors and the NASPA Fraternity and Sorority Knowledge Community. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball and soccer, working out, reading, and stopping by the local museums.
