
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Rona Kohanteb is a proud LA Valley girl with a deep-rooted passion for student development and community building. She earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and her master’s degree in postsecondary administration and student affairs from the University of Southern California.
In her role as assistant director of sorority and fraternity life, Rona is committed to supporting chapter and council leaders, enhancing the sorority and fraternity experience, and fostering the continued growth of the SFL community at LMU. She values each student’s unique journey and is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where students feel connected, empowered, and inspired to lead.
Outside of work, Rona enjoys discovering new workout spots around LA, curating the perfect playlist, sharing home-cooked Persian meals with family and friends, and catching live concerts whenever she gets the chance.
