Meet the Program Coordinator
Olivia Rodriguez '15 worked in Academic Affairs at Cal State Dominguez Hills as the tutoring coordinator in the Toro Learning and Testing Center. In addition to working collaboratively with faculty and campus partners to provide students with an essential academic resource, she worked directly with the team of peer educators as a professional and academic mentor.
Rodriguez earned a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in literature. During her time as an LMU student, she also earned a certificate in Intercultural Competency and was a student director in the esteemed Intercultural Facilitator (IF) program. Currently she is completing her master's degree at CSU Long Beach in the social and cultural analysis of education program.
As a first-generation Mexican American, Rodriguez is humbled and excited to serve the LMU community through immersive programming and student engagement that cultivates holistic development. As a multiracial and multicultural woman, she is committed to creating open, safe, and inclusive spaces for students that exist in any and all margins.
