Lavender Graduation is a celebration for students graduating where there will be acknowledgements, stoles given out, Keynote speakers heard, community can be together. Food, drinks, and flowers will be provided. Anyone can attend to watch including family, friends, LMU affiliates. Registration is now closed.
Guests
Please make sure to bring the allotted guests you requested. If that number has changed, please let me know as we only have so much space. This would also include campus friends.
Graduation Gifts
You will be getting your stole the day of at the event to wear at general graduation, as well as an Etched Champagne Glass and a Rainbow Rose.
What to Wear
- You should come dressed in your graduation cap and gown.
- Your guests should be dressed nicely for the event. Think one step down from business casual.
Parking
Parking is free on the weekend: you will not need to pay for parking. There is parking in the Life Science Building Garage to instruct guests to use. Overflow parking will be in Lot A. Here is an interactive map to send to your guests.
Where to check in on the day of the event
You should head to the Life Science Building Auditorium FEA 120 to check in for the event. Guests will be able to check in at the same location. We will not be located in The Hill this year.
When to arrive
Check in starts at 9:45 a.m., Doors open at 10am for seating. Please arrive no later than 10:20 a.m. We will be starting promptly at 10:30 a.m.
Food
Hors D'oeuvres and refreshments will be given at Hannon courtyard after the event and will be from 12pm to 1pm. There will be Chicken, Beef, Seafood, and Vegetarian appetizer options.
Accommodations
If you need an accommodation for the event (space for a wheelchair, hearing ability, sign language interpreter, etc), please email me directly and I will get back to you to confirm. Please note that not every accommodation request may be met.
What Not to Bring
Please keep in mind university policies and regulations. Kindly leave air horns and other noise making items at home.
