OISS Advisors will be available for virtual drop-in hours during the designated times below. Please refer to the information below for how to speak with an advisor.
All F-1 and J-1 students are able to utilize our drop-in hours. Advisors will be available on Zoom during the times listed below for quick/general questions and will meet with students in the order they join the waiting room. Drop-in hours are not available during university holidays and breaks.
Drop-in hours are for quick questions. If students have involved or in-depth case-specific questions, they should schedule an appointment via LionConnect. Please go to your Care Team in LionConnect, select OISS and the topic you want to meet about, and then select that you will meet with anyone on this team. This will ensure you see the soonest available appointments.

You will be let into the Zoom room as soon as an immigration advisor is available. We appreciate your patience while we provide individual attention to each student.
Fall 2025 Drop-in Hours Schedule:
Mondays: 2 - 3 PM
Tuesdays: 11 AM - noon
Wednesdays: 10 - 11 AM
Thursdays: 11 AM - noon, 2 - 3 PM
*Please note that all LMU offices are closed in observance of Winter Break from Wednesday December 23rd until Monday January 5th. If you are experiencing an immigration emergency during the office closure, please call Campus Safety at 310-338-2893.
