OISS Advisors will be available for virtual drop-in hours during the designated times below. Please refer to the information below for how to speak with an advisor.
All F-1 and J-1 students are able to utilize our drop-in hours. Advisors will be available on Zoom during the times listed below for quick/general questions and will meet with students in the order they join the waiting room. Drop-in hours are not available during university holidays and breaks.
Drop-in hours are for quick questions. If students have involved or in-depth case-specific questions, they should schedule an appointment via Manehub. To schedule an appointment, click Book Now under “Schedule an Appointment” on the home page or select My Support Team from the sidebar; both options will take you to the same page. Once there, you can identify OISS advisors by the “OISS Support” label and select Schedule under the advisor you would like to meet with. Select an available date and time based on the advisor’s appointment options, which may be in-person or virtual. You will then select the topic(s) you would like to discuss and provide any additional comments before completing your appointment registration.
Make sure to check the Drop-in Hours and Holiday closures schedule below before entering the Zoom room. You must be logged into your LMU Zoom account in order to access the meeting room.
You will be let into the Zoom room as soon as an immigration advisor is available. We appreciate your patience while we provide individual attention to each student.
Fall 2026 Drop-in Hours Schedule:
- Mondays: 10 - 11 a.m.
- Monday: 2 - 3 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 10 - 11 a.m.
- Wednesdays: 2 - 3 p.m.
- Thursdays: 2 - 3 p.m.
- Fridays: 10 - 11 a.m.
