Dr. Sam Schwartz's therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and rooted in curiosity. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, integrating the physical, cognitive, emotional, and sociocultural factors that shape clients' well-being. Working from a strengths-based, values-driven perspective, she makes space for clients' unique identities and goals. Her clinical interests include anxiety, identity exploration, trauma, and relational issues. She enjoys working with students across a wide range of identities and has particular expertise in working with the LGBTQ+ community.
About the Staff Member:
Dr. Schwartz earned her doctorate in psychology from Temple University in 2023 and has worked in university counseling centers throughout her training and career. Outside of work, she loves baking, trying new cuisines, getting coffee with friends, practicing yoga (she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2026), and going on walks with her schnoodle, Babka.
