Mbongi Spot

The Mbongi Spot, historically known has Bird Nest, was developed to provide a safe space for the formation and holistic care of Black students, as well as faculty and staff. We recognize that for the Black community, there are culturally specific needs that have gone unattended regardless of LMU’s Jesuit heritage. The Mbongi Spot provides ample space for congregation, mentorship, as well as showcase of resources. Physical resources for use include free usage of computer stations, printers, and lounge furniture.
