SEVIS Coordinator
Ana-Sofia Alcaraz '14 is the SEVIS Coordinator at the Office for International Students and Scholars. She helps advise students on their F-1 status and maintain the MyStatus platform for international students. Ana-Sofia has worked in higher education for over six years with duties varying from international student services to study abroad, from career development to diverse student support services. Her love for working with diverse student populations was sparked by her own experiences as a Mexican living abroad in Argentina and Belgium, her time working in Washington D.C., and during her own time at LMU working at OISS. She loves supporting students in all aspects of their university experience and working with colleagues to make university processes easier for students. Ana-Sofia holds a master's degree in Latin American studies with an emphasis on conflict resolution and human rights from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and a bachelor's Degree in English from LMU.
