Mission

LMU is committed to the legacy of Saint Ignatius Loyola. Our mission — the encouragement of learning, the education of the whole person, the service of faith and the promotion of justice — commits us to providing accurate information and resources for current and prospective undocumented students, their families and allies.

Vision

The Undocumented Student Support Services (USSS) provides a brave and safe space to LMU undocumented, TPS, and mix-status undergraduate and graduate students. Our goal is to empower undocumented scholars and address their needs through resources and services that enhance and support their academic, career, and personal journey. The USSS offers guidance, resources, financial aid and scholarship application assistance, immigration legal services, informational sessions related to immigration policies and resources, as well as workshops that center the undocumented experience. The USSS is open to all students and is specifically designed to increase the enrollment, retention and success rates as well as the graduation rates of undocumented students.
