Personal Trainers are available to Burns Recreation Center members for a minimal fee. All Personal Trainers are AFAA (Aerobic & Fitness Association of America), ACE (American Council of Exercise), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) or NCSF (National Council on Strength & Fitness) certified.

Jeff has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. He is a proud LMU Lion that has helped thousands of people reach their health and fitness goals in the greater Los Angeles area. Jeff understands the difficulty that can come with changing your lifestyle, as he himself lost over 127lbs at the age of 14.
It is his goal to make becoming a healthier person not only something that is realistic and attainable, but fun!
Mike is a true fitness enthusiast. He has been an avid marathon runner for years and brings his knowledge and passion for the sport to the Burns Recreation Center.

Michael's passion for health and fitness developed largely in high school where he participated in wrestling, cross country and track for 4 years. He began searching for a new outlet after graduation, and discovered one of his greatest passions – competitive bodybuilding. Michael brings his extensive knowledge of strength training and bodybuilding to our Fitwell programming!

Sam has been a competitive athlete her whole life, and hopes to bring that same passion and energy to her training sessions with you! Living healthy is truly a way of life for Amanda. In the last few years, she's fallen in love with weightlifting as it allows her to feel healthy and confident with herself. She struggled for years with dieting and trying to find an exercise routine that gave her the results she wanted. Weightlifting turned her life around, and inspired her to become a fitness professional so she could share her love of fitness with others. Susanne is an AFAA certified personal trainer with tremendous fitness knowledge. Through years of athletic competition, she has learned the benefits of exercise for full mobility in order to live a healthy, balanced life. Jacob is an ACE certified personal trainer with over 3 years of experience. He is a former Division I athlete that specializes in working with a multitude of clientele. Jacob has a true passion for health and wellness and wants to see his clients meet their fitness goals.
Gabby is an NASM certified personal trainer who has played and coached competitive sports her whole life. She is passionate and knowledgeable about long distance running, yoga and weight lifting. She believes working out should be challenging but also fun and stress-free!
Jackson is a NASM certified personal trainer, scratch golfer and drag performer. Getting in better shape has benefited many aspects in his life, including: having more confidence, building discipline, improving his golf game, and allowing him to pursue a more active and healthy lifestyle. He has played competitive sports all of his life and was varsity captain of his golf team, junior and senior-year of high school.
