Personal Trainers are available to Burns Recreation Center members for a minimal fee. All Personal Trainers are AFAA (Aerobic & Fitness Association of America), ACE (American Council of Exercise), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) or NCSF (National Council on Strength & Fitness) certified.

Anna Miles
Hey everyone! My name is Anna Miles and I am a student trainer on campus. My specialty is low-impact workouts, HIIT, and recovery training. I believe in training to make the body feel good both mentally and physically. A fun fact about me is that I love to travel!

Jules Abella
My name is Jules Abella, and I am a certified personal trainer. I believe that training is about creating lifelong habits that enable you to lead a healthy, active lifestyle. My favorite ways to stay active include HIIT training, hiking, and yoga. A fun fact about me is that I used to play volleyball!

My philosophy regarding training includes three pillars: safety, progression, and positivity.
