Essential Items First-Year Student Should Bring

  • Bedding and Pillows
    • Mattress Topper
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Shower Sandals and Shower Caddy
  • Bathrobe
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Computer
    • Headphones
    • USB drive
  • Power Strip with Surge Protector
  • Flashlight
  • Odor Removers (Such as Febreze)
  • Alarm Clock
  • Fridge/Microfridge
    • Frozen Foods
    • Drinks
  • Something to remind you of home
    • Posters/Pictures (only non-marring adhesives may be used)
  • Hangers
  • Clothes
    • Gym Clothes
    • Plenty of socks and underwear
    • At least one set of formal clothes
    • Pajamas
    • Don't bring all the clothes you have at home. Only the ones that you need and will actually wear.
